What better way to start your Myrtle Beach vacation than sleeping in and then gathering the family for a late brunch? Brunch is a fantastic meal to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or a creative combination of the two and perhaps even a bloody mary or mimosa. We have compiled a list of the best places to enjoy brunch in Myrtle Beach so you won’t have any trouble finding the ideal spot.
Croissants Bistro & Bakery: This low country bistro boasts an upscale brunch menu in addition to their delectable breakfast menu and will keep you coming back for more. Selections vary greatly and include a variety of egg preparations, succulent crepes, several benedicts, signature French toast, and more! If you are craving lunch, try one of their signature sandwiches, like the shrimp BLT, or a lunch entrees, like their famous shrimp & grits. Guests can also sip on a glass of house made sangria or a bloody mary to wash it all down.
Nibils: Nibils represents home cooking at its finest. Guests flock here for a casual atmosphere and home style breakfast favorites. Their menu is extensive and includes a variety of eggs and omelets, French toast, pancakes, and breakfast sandwiches. Don’t forget to load up on their succulent sides like sausage, biscuits, fresh fruit, home fries, and, of course, bacon. Nibils also offers a special menu for children and seniors.
Chestnut Hill: This area favorite has been voted “best of the beach” for over 20 years and offers an upscale buffet style experience. The cold bar consists of fresh fruit, tuna and chicken salad, fresh local shrimp, poached salmon, smoked oysters, assorted salads, cheeses, and breads. Salt Water Creek Café: Located in the seafood capital of the state, this Murrells Inlet eatery offers a variety of creative brunch options. This café is known for their eggs benedict varieties which include a filet mignon benedict, surf and turf benedict, smoked salmon benedict, shrimp benedict, and crab cake benedict. Other popular favorites include their omelets, stuffed French toast, and the SwC Egg Breakfast. Their full lunch menu is also available for those who are craving a sandwich or handmade pizza.
Nosh: Located in the heart of The Hammock Shops Island, this Pawleys gem offers an upscale brunch menu with hearty entrees. Dine under the historic oaks and enjoy the scenery and a cocktail before your meal. Brunch choices are diverse and include eggs benedict, Chef’s choice omelet, fried green tomatoes, turkey & brie on chibatta, low country shrimp & grits, and much more. They also offer a signature “make your own” bloody mary bar that is wildly popular among locals and visitors alike.
Eggs Up Grill: Families are welcomed with open arms at this local favorite. Choose from a variety of traditional breakfast items in addition to some of their signature favorites. Omelets and signature breakfast sandwiches are what this grill does best, but guests with a sweet tooth can also enjoy homemade pancakes or French toast. They also offer a decadent lunch menu with lighter items like chicken or tuna salad and heartier items like handmade burgers.
