Hot Summer Nights – All Summer Long
Looking to enjoy a little family friendly entertainment that won’t put a strain on the wallet? Head down to the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and check out their ongoing “Hot Summer Nights” promotions. Bring the little ones out on a Monday for the Kids’ Carnival from 7pm – 10pm, which offers games, face painting, inflatables, entertainers, and much more. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday nights offer free seaside concerts from 8pm – 11pm while Wednesdays offer early music from 6pm – 9pm followed by a spectacular fireworks show over the Atlantic at 10pm. Elvis lovers will want to head to Plyler Park on Friday and Saturday evenings from 8pm – 10pm to see the king himself live in action. The best part is, all of these events can be enjoyed completely free of charge; just head to the Boardwalk to see what all the buzz is about!
Dive-In Movies at Myrtle Waves – July 15 & 29
Gear up for a night of wet n’ wild fun at Myrtle Waves Water Park! Throughout July and part of August this popular family attraction is hosting a “dive-in” movie screening on a large outdoor screen. Families are invited to come at 4pm to enjoy a few hours of sliding and splashing before the movie begins at dusk. The movies playing will always be very family friendly and appropriate for guests of all ages. On July 15th, Paddington is the feature, followed by Frozen Sing Along on July 29th, and Big Hero on August 12th. Summer Parrot Head Festival – July 18
Whether you are a wino aficionado or just enjoy cool drinks and catchy tunes, the Parrot Head Festival at La Belle Amie Vineyard is sure to appeal to your crowd. Take a trip to the “island” with an afternoon of Jimmy Buffet beach music, tropical drinks and wine, and mouthwatering outdoor cooking. This festive event kicks off at noon and will feature two live bands which will be playing beachy tunes, complimentary tours of the winery, and food from Smokin’ Pitt BBQ and Vineyard Grill.
