Fall is upon us and that means several things: cooler temperatures, diminished crowds, and a full lineup of exciting fall events. Aside from the traditional fall festivals, fall also brings an impressive lineup of Halloween Events that are sure to scare your socks off. Take a look at these thrilling Halloween events taking place near Beach Colony Resort and pencil a few in to your fall beach itinerary:

Ripley’s Haunted Adventure – This haunted downtown attraction boasts over 10,000 square feet of scare space and is consistently rated the #1 haunted house along the Grand Strand. In true Ripley’s fashion, this haunted house harbors an asylum theme and is full of the strange, scary, and downright gory. Patients, doctors, and the undead lurk around every corner – will you make it out in one piece? Nightmare Haunted House – Nightmare Haunted House is the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk’s most terrifying attraction. This haunted house has been an area favorite since the 1980’s and is a favorite among visitors and tourists alike. All the creatures of your worst nightmare call this downtown residence home, including the “Stalker”, “Creeper”, “Pigboy”, and “Giggles”. These horrifying characters waiting for you throughout each twist and turn of the haunted mansion; one can only hope to see the light of day again! Nightmare Haunted House is Myrtle Beach’s premier haunted house attraction and you won’t want to miss out on the frights. Broadway at the Beach – Broadway at the Beach is conveniently located just a short drive from Beach Colony Resort and is going to offer plenty of spooky fun for guests of all ages. Families will want to take the chance to get in a little trick-or-treating from 4:30-6:30 on Friday, October 31st. Dress to impress and visit different vendors throughout the complex to get a few treats and even participate in games and contests. When the sun sets, however, the real fun for the adults begins with “Nightmare in the Square” at 7:30. There will be a live DJ, costume contest with cash prizes, and themed drink specials and events at all of the Broadway clubs. Broadway at the Beach is THE place to be this Halloween!

Fright Nights at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk – Family friendly fun and frights can be found everywhere this October at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. This bustling oceanfront venue transforms into a zombie-laden wasteland every weekend from October 3rd – November 1st. Every Friday and Saturday night the boardwalk will be overtaken by live zombies and apocalyptic props, perfect for spooky pictures and a few frights. Visitors to this event can also snag discounts at other terrifying downtown attractions and thrill rides. Just head to the Myrtle Beach boardwalk from 5pm – 10pm to see what all the buzz is about!
