Looking for a unique wine experience? If so, be sure to check out Boom Boom Wine Room, located right off 76th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach. This tapas style wine bar is a recent addition to the area and is quickly becoming a favorite among visitors and locals alike! Boom Boom boasts a unique cruvinet system that allows guests to enjoy a one, three, or five ounce serving of wines from across the globe, making it easy to try several varieties. Affordable samples in a convenient location can be found right up the road at Broadway at the Beach. Boardwalk Winery produces a wide array of local wine concoctions and offers on-site samples in their signature tasting room. Creations include year round selections “Endless Summer”, a sweet medium bodied wine made from mango and peach, and seasonal varietals like elderberry wine. Tastings are only $4 for seven or $2 for three; bottles are under $15 and bulk discounts are available. If you have an actual winery tour in mind, head north to Little River and check out La Belle Amie Vineyards. This local wine producer grows their own grapes and bottles their own signature fermented concoctions right here at the beach! And, you can see all of the action by taking a tour of the scenic facilities. Guests are invited to tour the vineyards solo between 10am – 4pm Mondays – Saturdays or one can take a guided tour on a Tuesday or Thursday at 11am. The tasting room is open Monday – Saturday from 10am – 5:30pm. Popular La Belle Amie favorites include the Bikini Blush, Island Mama, and Classy Lady Chardonnay. Those seeking a formal, sit down wine experience will enjoy the decadent offerings at SeaBlue Wine Bar in North Myrtle Beach. This posh, upscale eatery offers indulgent entrees and an award winning wine list that is sure to please even the most selective palate. Each wine is served at proper temperature in Riedel stemware and proper service is consistent with top restaurants in metropolitan cities. The lavish menu includes tempting appetizers like lobster mac and cheese, local oysters, premium scallops, escargot, and SeaBlue’s signature “jambon iberico de bellota” – a very fine and rare ham selection.
