Dive-In Movie at Myrtle Waves Water Park – August 12

Gear up for an evening of wet n’ wild fun at Myrtle Waves Water Park! Throughout the summer Myrtle Waves Water Park has been hosting dive-in movies on select dates. Guests are invited to come at 4pm on August 12 to enjoy a little fun in the sun before the feature presentation begins at 6:30pm. The large outdoor screen will feature Big Hero 6, perfect for the whole family. Admission to this event is only $12.99 per person plus tax and just a buck more if you want to enjoy fresh popcorn. House of Blues: Free Shows For Beach Colony Guests – August 21 & 28

House of Blues is the main stage for bands and singers to put on fabulous concerts all year long.  Located right next to Barefoot Landing, this venue is a perfect place to spend a Friday night with a free show in a convenient location. Enjoy a rockin' performance by American Floyd (A Tribute to Pink Floyd) on August 21st and Shoot to Thrill ( A Tribute to AC/DC ) on August 28th. Whose Beach Is It Anyway? – Ongoing

Grab your group and head to Carolina Improv for a night that won’t soon be forgotten! The Carolina Improv Theatre features local actors that have been professionally trained in the classic art of improv. Each show incorporates suggestions from the audience, ensuring that each show is 100% unique and unlike anything else you can see in the area. Similar to the popular “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” format, this lively improv performance will keep you on your toes. This show is very family friendly, though they do offer several other performances that are ideal for mom and dad.
