What could be better than starting out the 4th with time in the sun? Beach Colony offers our guests direct beach access, making slipping your toes into the sand almost effortless. Catching up on your favorite book or tackling some waves while you work on your tan is a great way to start out the holiday. If you get tired of the sand, just head up to one of
the sparkling pool amenities and enjoy a salt-free dip. We also feature an indoor pool if you would like to take a break from the sun.
Don’t forget about our Summer Activity Schedule! We host daily activities from May 25 through September 7, and Wednesdays include a live poolside DJ, ice cream happy hour, appearances from Captain Sneaky and Tiki Bird, and our Glow Party!
Fourth of July Dining
Another great way to celebrate the 4th is gathering friends and family for a delicious homemade meal! Avoid crowds at restaurants and save a little money by hosting a dinner at your condo. Most of the Beach Colony accommodations feature a fully equipped kitchen stocked with everything you could need, making whipping up dinner for a crowd a breeze. Many of our accommodations also include a private walk out balcony, making it easy to enjoy an amazing view while enjoying a burger and corn on the cob.
If letting others do the work is more your speed, our Ocean Café and Ocean Lounge are right on site for a delicious steak, yummy appetizers like cheese quesadillas and nachos, or a crispy salad!
Myrtle Beach is also home to a plethora of fantastic dining options. Famous area burger joints include Hamburger Joe’s, BurgerFi, Art Burger Sushi Bar, and Five Guys. Head to Broadway at the Beach for Wahlburgers, a refreshing ice cream cone from Cold Stone Creamery, or Dave & Busters for burgers, wings, and games.
Of course, it wouldn’t be the 4th without fireworks!
