Whether you are planning a St. Patrick’s Day specific event or you just happen to be in the area for this exciting holiday, check out some of these area events. From parades with a rainbow of green to festivals with authentic Irish fare – check out what the Myrtle Beach area has to offer. Saturday, March 14th and Sunday, March 15th – pencil in one of these exciting events:



St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival, March 14, 2015 – North Myrtle Beach



North Myrtle Beach’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is the largest parade along the Grand Strand and you won’t want to miss out on the action! Head to Main Street early to save your spot for this colorful event that hosts over 100 entrants every year. The fun starts promptly at 9am followed by a themed festival from 11am – 4pm. The festival will include food and drink vendors, live entertainment, and a fun kid’s area.



St. Patrick’s Day Festival, March 14 & 15, 2015 – Downtown Myrtle Beach



Head to the popular Myrtle Beach Boardwalk to enjoy a full day of oceanfront fun! The festival starts at 11 a.m. Saturday and noon on Sunday, meaning you have plenty of time to go green with glee. The festival will showcase authentic Irish Food and beverages and live seaside entertainment throughout the day until it ends at 10pm on Saturday and 9pm on Sunday. The festival also has an alcohol-free children’s zone with games, face painting, and more. It is free to the public so bring the whole family down!



St. Patrick's Weekend Musical Concerts, March 14 & 15, 2015 – Downtown Myrtle Beach



While you’re downtown celebrating with family or friends, be sure to follow the music!  On March 14th there will be a line up bands performing from 11am to 10pm. You may expect to see the following bands on Saturday March 14th:  Dino Capone’s School of Rock, The Reggie Sullivan Band, the Paul Grimshaw Band, A Nickel Bag of Funk, The Delta Saints and Honor By August. On Sunday, March 15th the music will continue from 12pm until 9pm and will feature a “battle of the bands” where over half a dozen regional bands will compete to play Hot Summer Nights annual entertainment.
