Mayfest on Main Festival – May 10th



Kick start your spring with the 9th Annual Mayfest on Main Festival in North Myrtle Beach. This lively event will feature live entertainment throughout the day, an array of local art and craft vendors, children’s games, face painting, and plenty of food and drink vendors. Pack your beach chair and a few blankets and prepare for a day full of fun! The festival begins at 10 am and runs until 6pm along Main Street.



 



Blue Crab Festival – May 17th & 18th



Seafood lovers and critics alike will appreciate the family friendly fun at this local festival. The annual Blue Crab Festival takes place just up the road in Little River on May 17th – 18th this year and promises to be bigger and better than ever. There will be over 200 vendors from across the nation in addition to live entertainment, a large children’s play zone, games, food and drink vendors, and – of course – lots and lots of crab! This is one of the largest festivals of the year and you won’t want to miss out. The festival hours are 9am – 6pm and tickets may be purchased in advance or the day of.



 



Memorial Day Parade & Festival – May 24th



Gather your crew and head down to Ocean Boulevard on Saturday, May 24th to take part in the annual Myrtle Beach Memorial Day Parade & Festival. The fun kicks off at 10:30 am as the parade, full of local floats and walking groups, winds its way down the boulevard. The parade is expected to last about an hour and will be immediately followed by a family friendly picnic at the former Pavilion site. There will be plenty of food, live music, and games for the kids.
