Broadway Grand Prix
Formerly the NASCAR SpeedPark, the Broadway Grand Prix just re-opened and is bigger and better than ever! This thrill pumping family favorite now includes seven renovated go-kart tracks for all ages, an expansive arcade, two 18-hole putt-putt courses, batting cages, a large rock climbing wall, and a Kids Zone with a wide array of exciting carnival rides. The go-kart tracks here are well maintained and offer options for all ages. Enjoy a little family competition at the family track or put the pedal to the metal on the Fast Track. Carnival rides include thrilling options like the Sky Coaster and tame rides for the little ones like the Carousel and Tooter Train. North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex
This recent Grand Strand addition opened in the spring of 2014 and has quickly become the area’s premier sports facility. The new venue includes several well-maintained baseball and softball fields, a large dog park, two new playgrounds, expansive green areas, and several picnic areas, making it a favorite spot for families. Pack lunch and enjoy a day at the park or catch a local baseball or softball tournament. The Sports Complex also has a large indoor event facility that hosts exciting events throughout the year and an outdoor amphitheater that hosts concerts throughout the summer – many of which are totally free! A trip the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex is a great way to spend a day with the family, particularly for those on a budget.
Hollywood Wax Museum
The brand new Hollywood Wax Museum opened in June of 2014 and offers three unique attractions all under one roof! Though there are several other wax museums located throughout the nation, the Hollywood Wax Museum is the only one dedicated to tribute to Hollywood celebrities. These statues are eerily lifelike and guests are invited to take pictures with all of their favorite idols. In addition to the wildly popular wax museum, this building also includes two other attractions: Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, which features hundreds of mirrored walls and 288 potential turns, and Outbreak, a zombie themed haunted adventure. Visitors have their choice of tickets that include one, two, or all three of these exciting attractions. Open 7 days a week from 9:30am – midnight, be sure to check out this new family attraction.
